Dj Des born to a Hispanic Mother & African American father moved to Virginia from Washington D.C. as a young child, Dj Des spent time living in various countries with a strong military up bringing. At a young ripe age his mother Ms. Diaz (Now Mrs. Tirado) exposed him to a Yamaha Piano. After being exposed to various cultures, once moving back to the U.S. he found himself affiliated with various musical acts in the 757 area also known as The 7 Cities Tidewater Hampton Roads Area. Turning the focus on his interest in music Des picked up his 1st set of turntables after hustling up enough money. He himself serving honorably in the United States Army as a U.S. ParaTroopers / U.S. Army Airborne , upon returning home as a combat veteran from the Iraq War Des decided it was time to continue his venture in music. In 2008 Des started his own movement Militant Mind Ent.
